The first thing is this a job market of college-educated staff reductions (CESRs) and despite what media and government is saying, it is worse than they are saying.

According to LinkedIn Recruiter, 26 million people on LinkedIn are #opentowork in the US. To put it into perspective, that is approximately 7.3% of the US population and 16.1% of the US workforce.

Now, not everyone is out of work. Some are trying to improve their circumstances. Given LinkedIn's demographics, those affected by College-Educated Staff Reductions (CESRs) and what the US Bureau of Labor Statistics is reporting, jobs are not being created for people on LinkedIn.
