Receiving The Pfizer Booster

I am over 65 and have one comorbidity to Covid — my weight. I was early to get the Pfizer vaccine when it was released (I received my mine among the first 500 in my county in NC when it became available). It was great to be protected and free!

I remember getting together with friends for an evening out once the President released us from our home jails. It was just amazing to be with people.

The first shot left me feeling “off.” I missed two turns on my way home after the shot. After the second, I knew I might feel off and paid close attention on my drive back from the high school parking lot where I was jabbed. My wife encouraged me to take a homeopathic remedy named gelsemium sempervirens afterward. My drive was uneventful — no missed turns, I blocked my coaching schedule for the pm just in case I felt off. I didn’t.

I started noticing stories from Israel that seemed to indicate that the Pfizer vaccine (the one I received) lost efficacy with time. I had correctly predicted an annual booster like with the flu so I wasn’t surprised that a booster would be issued (I was wrong in March 2020 prediction that it would take a full year for Covid to become ordinary in the US. As a layperson, I didn’t think of variants and the desire of politicians to use Covid as a political issue). I knew…
