No BS Career Advice: August 28, 2024

My wife and I just returned from celebrating our 25th anniversary at the resort our son works at in Vermont, Twin Farms. You can read the back story about the place if you’re inclined but we had a wonderful time being pampered by the staff and the experience. I haven’t had an alcoholic drink in 20+ years but enjoyed the pairings with the tasting menu the first night, dinner the second night at its other restaurants, tooling around the property in a golf cart, and time in the Japanese baths each day. So relaxing and too much to eat. We left after having a picnic delivered and set up for us on top of the mountain on the property.

And now we’re back home in NC.

By now, you probably know that the number of jobs created between March 2023 and March 2024 was overstated by 818000 jobs reducing the number of jobs to 2,100,000. The truth is very few were created for LinkedIn users during this time. Many were created for government workers, social services, and healthcare workers. U.S. Job Growth Revised Down Significantly
