I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. I’m a career and leadership coach, and I help people be effective professionally. That could be with a job search because I worked in executive search for many years, hiring more effectively (the other side of the work that I did), managing and leading and resolving workplace-related issues, while at the same time having the kind of career in life that you want.
I’m going to talk to those of you who are new managers. And I’m gonna probably do a series around this. But the thing I want to start by telling you is, when you become a manager, no one tells you everything that you need to know. And you probably haven’t observed everything that you need to know, in your observations of others. Just one day, you get the promotion.
