We know about the man’s remarkable accomplishments and a few profound quotes that attributed to him.
We also know about his awful murder/assassination in Memphis. If you don’t, it’s time that you do. History will judge you poorly for your ignorance as it does others and ignorance of certain important events.
I was a teenager at that time and didn’t fully understand the depth of the man. I believe and understood the civil rights struggle that he led but didn’t know about the challenges or is depth and heart. Where I lived in New York, at that time, those are not in the newspapers I read.
I often write about the workplace, particularly on medium.com.
Part of what I like to write about is coping with the modern workplace’s despair and the compromises people make for their jobs.
